For students who wish to study in Japan, the first step to take is choosing a school which has ideal, high-quality education. Once you take the step, success and happiness await you. As a graduate of Trident, I am proud to say that I took the right step. I came to Japan to study after graduating from a high school. I chose the 18 month course at Trident and started learning Japanese from the basics. I first felt very anxious about living in Japan because I knew very little about the language and my surroundings. However, with the help of the experienced school staff, I gradually got used to my new life in Japan. As for the learning aspect, my Japanese skills quickly improved thanks to dedicated teachers with plenty of experience in Japanese language education. Special classes to prepare for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) and Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) also contributed to the improvement, and I absorbed so much in these classes. Starting from the basics of Japanese language, I passed the JLPT Level 1, got a good result in EJU, and was accepted into Meiji University all within 18 months at Trident. I really appreciate teachers’ ardent efforts for students. Students who wish to attend national and public universities or prestigious private universities also must get a required score of TOEIC or TOEFL. There is no need to worry about this. An English school is conveniently located in the same building where you can take classes and apply for TOEIC. This is one of the reasons why many Trident students are accepted into prestigious universities every year. Placing emphasis on everyday conversation as well as reading and writing, Trident has a Japanese salon where you can make friends with Japanese students and enjoy cross-cultural exchange. In addition, many school events are held every year including Kakizome, which is Japanese calligraphy, and field trips. These activities are helpful for a better understanding of Japanese culture and for future learning and career development. I am studying hard for a special certificate exam at the university. For students who wish to pursue a career in the business world, getting certified as an accountant or a tax accountant will look good on your resume. Finally, I wish you every success and happiness in your busy life in Japan.

As you may know, Japanese is considered one of the most difficult languages in the world. That's why I chose Trident language school. The language classes were until 3 o'clock every day, but for me that's when my studies really started. I would go to the second floor and spend hours asking the teachers about almost any point which I didn't understand. I remember the week before the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) consulting with the teachers everyday. It didn't matter how many hours I took from them, they always kindly answered every question I had. They not only taught me about Japanese, but also about Japanese life-style, culture, and many other things. I couldn't be more grateful. Besides, I made really good friends from all over the world. I have been invited to Thailand, China, and Taiwan. I always said "ibunka" is always interesting. That experience is irreplaceable. I can guarantee you one thing: your horizons will expand.    At the graduation ceremony, I still remember thinking that if the teachers at Ryukoku University were only half as caring as those at Trident, I would be just fine. If it weren't for the support I got at Trident I wouldn't be here. If there is something I am proud of it must be what I achieved at Trident. Those 2 years were totally worthwhile.

Anyone living in a new environment away from home, particularly in a foreign country, has a mix of excitement and anxiety in their heart. Leaving work to experience a new challenge was a decision with a certain degree of risk. However, Trident became a reliable advisor as well as a guide. Trident provides us with high-quality classes and good programs which give students chances to learn many aspects of Japanese culture. Trident has established a national reputation for its careful consideration for students, and its systematic good management. Teachers always willingly helped me find solutions to all kinds of worries I was facing in the unfamiliar environment, and they reviewed a large number of study plans with me. Their kindness even made me wonder if all Japanese people were as kind as them. I have begun another challenge in an unfamiliar environment in Sapporo, Hokkaido, located in the north end of the Japanese archipelago where half of the year is winter. There will be more difficulties I have to overcome. However, I will not be as pressured or rushed as I felt before because I have already built up my confidence by overcoming such difficulties, with Trident by my side. Do you feel a mix of excitement and anxiety? Do you need reliable advisors? I am sure Trident will be your best choice!

I was interested in game creation and dreamed of working in the field of computer games. To make a dream come true, you have to learn about the field that interests you. Then I decided to study in Japan which is streets ahead in the game programming world. Before you learn a specialized field, you need to learn the local language. Because I didn’t know Japanese at all, I first enrolled on the 18 month Course in Trident’s Japanese Department. I chose Trident because it has a long history and a well-organized curriculum, and it also has a school where I can learn game creation. Starting from the beginner’s class, I studied hard to go on to a computer school. Thanks to the teachers, when I finished the course, I got accepted into the Game Science department of Trident College of Information Technology. Study at the computer school was even harder than learning Japanese. However, there were interesting activities including classes for team-centered production and presentations which motivated me to stick with it until the end. After graduation, I got a position in a game creation company which was just what I had been looking for. Trident provided full support for employment search and I was able to get a job in Japan. I would like to create things which entertain people. I hope people who are thinking about studying in Japan will take positive action and realize their dreams. I recommend Trident as the destination to study. At Trident’s Japanese Department, you will have good experiences by learning Japanese and culture both in class and through events and optional courses. I hope you will enjoy those experiences and spend a fulfilling student life at Trident.

When I was a high school student, I began to take an interest in Japanese culture and started learning Japanese. After graduation, I was too busy with work to keep up the pace of learning, which led to my decision to study in Japan. My friend from a Japanese school told me about Trident in Nagoya. The third largest city in Japan is a very good place to learn because despite its prosperity, it is less crowded, and life is less hectic than in Tokyo or Osaka. I aimed to pass the highest level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test during the year I studied at Trident. Quizzes or tests were periodically conducted which contributed to maintenance of my learning pace. Attendance also weighs heavily at Trident in order to prevent students from spending too much time at their part-time jobs or pursuing leisure interests and forgetting the true meaning of studying in Japan. A minimum attendance rate of 75% is required in order to graduate. Also on campus, there were students of various ages from different countries, including Taiwan, South Korea, Spain, and Thailand, and I learned about diverse cultures and made friends with whom I still keep in touch. Teachers were eager to answer our questions both in and out of class, introduced us Japanese culture and tourist spots, and encouraged us to experience local culture. During the summer holiday, I enjoyed a homestay and participated in a speech contest. My homeroom teacher helped me with the preparation of my speech. She readily corrected errors in my speech and my pronunciation even during the holiday, and I received a prize for effort. I sincerely appreciate my teacher. After I returned to Hong Kong, I looked for a job. Due to my experience of studying abroad, I took a position at a bank which is famous in Japan. The fact that I am using what I learned proves my first decision was right. If you want to study in Japan and have an unforgettable experience, have the courage to turn away from the easy life right in front of you and take a step forward to change your life.

I have been studying Japanese since the last year of my university days. The main reason is to be more competitive in the job market. In the past 15 years, Thai industries have been growing, especially the automotive sector, which belongs to Thai- Japanese shareholders. Besides English, Japanese became another option for study. At the moment, not only interpreters use Japanese, but also other careers need Japanese. The most important Japanese skill is speaking. Japanese classes are available in Thailand but it is not in a realistic environment. When compared to English, Japanese is more complicated. So I thought it was better to take classes in Japan. For Thai people, Japanese characters, pronunciation, and grammar are difficult, but the Trident curriculum made them clear to me. Now I understand how to use Japanese properly. Trident not only taught me Japanese, but also gave me insight into Japanese culture and helped me make new friends. Since I returned to Thailand, I have returned to my former company, working for a Japanese business. The Japanese classes that I took at Trident were very worthwhile and made my career grow. To make your dream comes true, let Trident be your choice!
